Sean Zigah

Undergraduate Researcher

Sean is an undergraduate student working on identifying the cause of the optical phenomenon iridescence observed in iron (hydr)oxide minerals taken from Graves Mountain, Georgia. Sean has been using scanning electron microscopy, powder x-ray diffraction as well spectroscopy techniques to investigate iridescence. Sean is hoping to pursue a master’s degree upon completion of his undergraduate studies and work in industry as an environmental consulting.
